    The experiments were performed to verify the possibility of the direct separation of radionuclides from a liquid decontamination waste. From the results obtained it was concluded that neither composite inorganic absorbers nor strongly acidic cation exchanger can be used for the direct separation of radionuclides from the solutions tested.
