In situ gamma spectrometry in the area up to distance from 2 to 20 km around NPP Temelín consist of determination air kerma rate from direct measurement (special energy compensated plastic scintillation detector) and air kerma rate calculation from photon spectra measurement (scintillation detector NaI(Tl) diameter 3" by 3"). With the exception of the identified 137Cs (from Chernobyl accident fallout) it is not possible to identify among the measured spectra any significant contribution of any other radionuclides.

Czech description
Gama spektrometrie in situ ve vzdálenosti 2 - 20 km v okolí JE Temelín se sestávala z přímého měření dávkového příkonu kermy a jeho přepočtu ze spektrometrických měření (scintilační detector NaI(Tl) 3" x 3"). Výsledky měření neprokázaly přítomnost umělých radionuklidů vyjma 137Cs (zůstatek po Černobylské havárii a zkouškách jaderných zbraní v ovzduší).
