Differential Geometry in AE and its application in aeronautics
Original language description
A localization algorithm based on the theory of geodesic curves is presented. The theoretical background of the problem is described. That is the basic facts in the field of differential geometry, which gives rise to the notion of a geodetic curve and geodetic equations. Next, the localization algorithm itself and the implementation of the algorithm to the model of a pressure vessel with incoming pipes are described. At the end of the paper, the results of tests accomplished with a real experimental data are presented - carriage unit of a small airplane.
