    The aim of the project was to design and construct broadly tunable powerful Cr:ZnSe laser. The investigated Cr:ZnSe various shaped bulk crystals were grown by the Bridgman method or by the floating zone method. The absorption spectrum was measured to befrom 1500 to 2000 nm and the emission spectrum was from 2100 to 2800 nm.

    Cílem této práce bylo navrhnout a zkonstruovat široce laditelný výkonný Cr:ZnSe laser. Zkoumány byly různé tvary Cr:ZnSe krystalů, které byly pěstovány Bridgmanovou metodou nebo metodou "floating zone". Absorpční spektrum bylo měřeno od 1500 do 2000 nm aemisní spektrum bylo od 2100 do 2800 nm.
