Reactor Physics Phenomena of Large Units at Zero Power Reactors
Original language description
The reactor core physics of large units is rather complex as there are many phenomena acting simultaneously one against the other. On the contrary zero power reactors designed for education and training allow a good understanding of reactor core physicsas they enable to decouple the phenomena and to study just one aspect at a time. On the example of VR-1 reactor, paper shows possibilities of zero power reactors to demonstrate and better understand some operational aspects and behaviour of power reactors.
