Implementation of the Finite Element Method for the Heat Equation
Original language description
This article describes a general implementation of the finite element method for the heat equation. The implementation allows for using domains of arbitrary dimensions and various types of finite elements. In addition, it is easily extensible to other partial differential equations. The main goal of this article is to analyze the finite element method from the implementational point of view while not ignoring its mathematical background.
