    On Discretization of Polynomials Corresponding to Symmetric and Antisymmetric Functions in Four Variables

  • Original language description

    The paper describes the symmetric and antisymmetric exponential functions of four variables, based on the permutation group S4. We derive the explicit formulas for corresponding families of the orthogonal polynomials and some of their properties, namelythe orthogonality, both the continuous one and the discrete one on the lattice. A general formula for orthogonal polynomials in n variables connected with symmetric exponential functions is given.
