    Observation of Overtone Progression in Resonance Raman Spectra of 1,3,5-triazin-2-yl-1-aminopyrene Derivatives

  • Original language description

    Strong progression of overtone and combination bands was observed using 355 nm excitation wavelength which corresponds to the first absorption band maximum. The intensities of the overtone and combination bands are comparable to those of the fundamentals. This contribution concentrates on the assignment of the overtones and combination bands in the resonance Raman spectrum based on the calculation of vibrational frequencies by DFT in combination with measurement of non-resonance FT Raman spectra.
