This paper deals with filling the gap between software and business engineers. The aim is to present and briefly compare the commonly available and used models. These two to be compared are business object relation modeling (BORM) and business process model and notation (BPMN). The main ideas of requirements engineering are discussed in the introduction part. The attention is paid to the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and its short history. The main attention is paid the BORM.
