LOW-LEVEL 129I AT MILEA
Original language description
Determination of 129I background with a clean ion source. 129I can be measured at MILEA with a similar performance as on the Tandy, the transmission is around 50% for the 2+ charge state, currents are generally limited to less than 10 μA. The random access of samples and the possibility to remove high samples from the magazine without turning the ion source off is a big advantage of MILEA.
