Modelling of synchronously pumped crystalline Raman laser with a gain reduction
Original language description
In this paper, a model of synchronously pumped picosecond Raman laser based on a solid state Raman material is presented. The commonly used set of equations describing Raman interaction in transient regime has been enhanced by a gain reduction according to the simplified theory of spectral effects in stimulated Raman scattering. This approach fundamentally modifies previously published numerical results. In addition, the effect of group delay dispersion is commented.
