    Camera Calibration and 3D Coordinate Reconstruction

    In this paper the camera calibration and 3D coordinate reconstruction processes are described using least squares solution. These processes are required in order to perform 3D measurements from images either to obtain the location of an object in the image or to compute the position and orientation of a moving camera relative to any external reference. The camera calibration results are also presented.
