Original language description
The head posture is considered as one of the significant indicators in neurology. A method capable of measuring the actual head posture in a precise and a simple way would definitely contribute to diagnosis of these disorders. The objective of the project is to develop a technique for measurement of the native position of the head in 3D space. The new method tries to eliminate the drawbacks of the previous method. The experiments proved that it is possible to use only two video cameras in various positions. Three markers attached to the head were tracked and the orientation of the head could be computed. The next work assumes the extension of the current method into a marker-less head posture measurement method.

Czech description
Pozice hlavy je pována za jeden z význačných indikátorů v neurologii. Metoda schopná určit aktuální polohu hlavy by přispěla k diagnóze těchto nemocí. Nová metoda používá dvě videokamery, které mohou být rozmístěny v různých pozicích. Sledováním 3 značekpřiložených k hlavě bylo možné spočítat orientaci hlavy. Další vývoj stávající metody bude směřovat k metodě nevyužívající značky.
