The influence of laser on the mechanical properties
Original language description
The understanding of laser-tissue interactions is elementary for use in clinical practice. The influence of lasers on mechanical features of human skin has yet to be fully investigated. Although the effect of laser radiation has been demonstrated in numerous studies, yet been the impact of laser radiation on mechanical properties of irradiated sites has yet to be determined. Therefore the main aim of this study is to determine the change of mechanical properties of human skin during the application of laser beams. Mechanical parameters of human skin were determined by the help of RMA (Resonance Mechanical Analysis) instruments. Impulse characteristics are the most suitable for determining the mechanical parameters of human skin in vivo. From damping angular frequency and the mass of an inertial member we can determine the ideal mechanical parameters of the system. The experiment used the therapeutic high power laser BTL 6000 with wavelength 1064 nm. Two series of measurements were perf
