Characterization of cell differentiation using capillary electrophoresis and PCR
Original language description
Tissue ingeneering is concerned with substitution and degeneration of damaged tissues. For this purpose biodegradable matrices (scaffolds) are used as carries for cell culture (mainly MSCs.). Different assays have been carried out with mesenchymal stem cells on carrier systems: adhesion of MSCs, viability assay (MTS assay), alkaline phosphatase assay (ALP), PicoGreen assay, and isolation of RNA. Following differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells on scaffolds will be evaluated using Simple Western technique based on Western blot and capillary electrophoresis principles integrated with chemiluminescent immunodetection of specific proteins and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) used for fast and precise DNA sequence amplification.
