    A comparison of effects of therapy with the laser diode and MLS® laser system

    Laser therapy is a part of the complex rehabilitation treatment employed in selected indication groups of patients. The target of the present study was an assessment of therapeutic effects achieved with the help of two types of laser therapy appliances in selected indication groups of locomotor apparatus disorders. Two different approaches were compared: The application of a single wave length in the pulsed regimen and the use of the Multiwave Locked System technique (MLS®). Not only therapeutic effects but also the comfort of the patient and economic costs associated with the therapeutic procedures chosen were considered.
