At present, medical television series are popular viewing amongst the lay and professional public. This article discusses the television series called Modrý kód/Blue Code. Many experts do not take television series like this very seriously however, it is necessary to realize that in crisis situations, the public often take everything they see and copy it, even though the truth is very far from reality when acted out in a TV show. In some cases, the layman trusts the film more than the real practitioner. This study took the objective evaluation of medical practices enacted in TV shows and Films and compares them with current best practices from approved specialized institutions and laws applicable in the Czech Republic. In the investigation, we analysed and evaluated the errors of `health workers’ demonstrating various practices during this TV series.
