Disorders of colour vision and diagnosis
Original language description
The aim of this work is to monitor colorblindness disorders in the general human population and to investigate its subsequent impact on quality of life. The subjects were selected among the general adult population. The subjects were tested using the Farnsworth-Munsell ordination test consisting of 16 color targets (0-15) and were also asked to identify 14 images using Ishihara charts. In those individuals where colorblindness was found, its occurrence in the family in subsequent generations was monitored. The frequency of colorblindness disorders among the general population is very low, however, the risk of occurrence is much higher in males.
