    Structural Damage Assesment Using Dynamic System Identification

    This paper describes pieces of knowledge obtained during the study of the influence of damage increase of three identical simple reinforced concrete beams on change of their modal characteristics. The state deterioration of beams was done by static and dynamic fatigue loading. After each step of loading a complete modal analysis was performed to determine modal parameters (eigenfrequencies, eigenmodes and damping) of the beams. In particular, modal assurance coefficients MAC, coordinate modal assurancecriterions COMAC, changes of a mode surface curvature CAMOSUC, changes of a modal flexibility matrix and curvatures of changes of a modal flexibility matrix defined by authors were computed
