Incidents where a train derails on the approach to a structure and collides with the structure are rare. However, the potential consequences are very severe so the risk cannot be ignored.Risk assessment of bridge structures endangered by impact is basedon common even tree method and Bayesian believe networks. The objective is to optimize design, which can be applied for any type of structures. The objective is to minimize the risk to people, structures and environment.

Czech description
Nehody při kterých dojde k vykolejení vlaku a následnému nárazu jsou málo časté, ale potenciální následky jsou velmi těžké, proto toto riziko nemůže být ignorováno. Hodnocení rizik konstrukcí vystavených účinkům nárazů se opírá o metodu stromkových diagramů a Bayesovských sítí. Cílem je optimalizace návrhu konstrukcí pro různé druhy konstrukcí a minimalizace rizik na lidi, konstrukce a životní prostředí.
