Under accident explosion the safety glass in the visor of cell for machinery designed for explosive charging was damaged. The way of damage (failure) is based on the location of the place where the ultimate rotation is exceeded in the dominant vibrationmode. On the basis of comparison of computational and experimental results the limit rotation for this glass structure and the characteristics of the dynamic loading is determined.
