Among the most important properties of building material belong the diffusion ones. They have an impact on ability of the structure to be permeable for water vapour and at the same time to be able to resist to outer conditions. Because of that it is veryimportant to know water vapour resistance factors for building materials, but it is not enough. It is necessary not only to know the table value, but to have it also experimentally based. Only these values are not the important thing, but even more important are the border conditions of the test. It is essential to realize and can calculate how much the border conditions can impact the value of water vapour resistance factor.
