    A new compact digital spectrometer was developed for Rn activities measurements. The device is based on Digital Signal Processor with sampling ADC, RAM/ROM memories and USB 2.0 controller. It is designed as a flexible multipurpose unit, which can be easily modified to meet specific requests of the experimental conditions. Its modular architecture allows to use it in a wide variety of measurements.
