This document describes the system that will be built during the MUAVET project which aims to develop an experimental test-bed for verification of novel multi-agent/robot communication and task distribution in real conditions of open-air area. The foreseen verification scenario targets a setup of multiple UAVs (Micro-Aerial Vehicles) performing a coordinated search scenario for objects of interest over a given area. The objects of interest will be labeled to allow their identification by UAVs onboard sensors. It is expected, that the used UAVs will deliver basically the same functionalities. If diversity in performance of UAVs in the verification scenario will be desired, it can be obtained by setting artificial constraints on the UAV capabilities in terms of i.e. limited operational flight level, speed, mission time, battery power, communication reliability and accessibility to other UAVs, etc.
