Original language description
Method for detection of o-chlorobenzyliden malononitrile (irritant police agent CS) in air using detection tube containing silica with immobilised copper(II) salt and glass capsule filled with carbon disulphide in dimethyl sulfoxide solution was developed. Presence and concentration of the CS agent can be determined according to colour intensity of indication layer. The method is selective and sufficiently sensitive (detection limit is 1 ?g) for using in field conditions.
