Economical Operation of District Heating Systems

Original language description

Economy is a very important aspect for design and of District Heating Systems (DHS). This economy is expressed by cost of the consumed heat unit and the consumed power unit by combined production of heat and power. Long since we solve system approach tocontrol of DHS operation. We understand the district heating systems (DHS) as technological strings "heat production - heat transport + distribution - heat consumption". The present economic situation in heating sources (i.e. heating plant and power andheating plant) requires improvement of economical operation of individual links of this technological string. The paper focuses on overview of our system approach to control, which consists in optimum control of the output of heat sources and in controlof heat transport+distribution.
