Original language description
From the point of view of system approach, we understand the district heating systems (DHS) as technological strings "heat production - heat transport + distribution - heat consumption". As regards the structure, heat networks are included in link 2 ofthis string, i.e. they are means for transport and distribution of heat energy in direction from the producer to the final consumer. In addition to simple radial networks, in practice, more complicated circle heat networks are used, namely both steam an dhot water networks, which may include several heat sources and a large quantity of customers. Attention of this article is focused on analysis of behaviour and possibilities of control of economical operation of such heat networks.
