    Preparation and Properties of the Beta-Phase Polypropylene

  • Original language description

    There are several well-known crystalline structures, namely monoclinic (alfa form), hexagonal (beta form), triclinic (gamma form) and smectic, associated with isotactic polypropylene (PP). The relative amount of the beta phase can be increased by addingnucleating agents. This study intends to analyse the influence of the beta form content on the mechanical properties of PP.
