This paper examines the creation of Economic Value Added (EVA) in Czech rubber and plastic industries. The study reveals that although Czech rubber and plastic industries are above the group of Czech industries as a whole, creation of EVA for individualrubber and plastic industries are not encouraging. This demands attention to increase operating profit, decrease cost of capital and strategic management at different levels for creation of EVA.
