Study on biodegradability of protein filled polymer composites using dielectric measurements
Original language description
A study on the biodegradability of protein-filled polymer composites was performed using dielectric measurements. The composites consist of a synthetic polymer, metallocene-based linear low-density polyethylene and a biopolymer, hydrolysed protein (HP).Biodegradation was conducted in an aqueous phase of malt extract medium by Aspergillus oryzae (F-172) for 3 weeks. It was shown that the biodegradation coefficients determined using dielectric measurements are in a good agreement with weight loss of thecomposite. The change of internal structure of the composites during biodegradation was investigated. Threshold character of biodegradation was observed in investigated systems. The higher the content of HP, the shorter is the time of biodegradation. Theresults are interpreted on the basis of the percolation theory. A formula for the limiting value of the biodegradation coefficient for infinite time was proposed.

Studium biodegradability kompozitů polymer-protein za použití dielektrického měření
