    Nondestructive Testing for Experimental Determination of Elastic Modulus of Rubber Hoses

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with experimental determination of hose static modulus of elasticity depending on working pressure. Usually elastic modulus of solids is determined by an experimental tensile test. Shear deformation of hose cross-section has a big influence on elastic modulus and hydraulic capacity of hose. On this account the normal tensile test of hose material is not enough. There is a special test for the hose elastic modulus determination. The method and the description of the test including experimental equipment are adduced in this paper.
