This work examinated aerobic and anaerobic biodegradbility of polyvinylpyrrolidone PVP K15 and PVP K30. Aerobic testing utilized activated sludge and anaerobic determination utilized digested sludge from the municipal wastewater treatment plant. It was found that biodegration of PVP was not proved in their environment.
