Original language description
Triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack) is the hybrid obtained from crossing between wheat (Tritium sp.) and rye (Secale sp.) and it has robustness and tolerance to weather and soil condition similar to rye. The aim of this study was to compare the amino acids content in wheat and triticale grains. Values of amino acids content are expressed as mean ? standard error of the mean (S.E.) and are adjusted on crude protein of wheat and triticale. Statistical analysis (Matched-pair t-test) did not prove any statistical significant difference in content of wheat´s amino acids as compared to content of triticale´s amino acids. However, the comparison by Pearson correlation coefficient (r) reveals that it was proved very high or high Pearson correlation coefficient by some essential amino acids as well as nonessential amino acids.
