Study of sound absorption properties of recycled materials
Original language description
Noise is ranked among negative phenomena of our environment. There are several possibilities of noise reduction. Application of suitable materials for sound absorption belongs among these possibilities too. The aim of this paper is to investigate sound absorption properties of some recycled waste materials. This work involves the measured frequency dependencies of the sound absorption coefficient. There are many factors that have an influence on sound absorption of the investigated material samples. These factors are evaluated in the conclusion of the work. Utilization of waste materials for the purpose of noise damping is part of environmental protection at the present time.
