    Noise has a negative influence on our environment. Noise elimination can be performed in several ways. Application of suitable sound absorption materials is one of the possibilities. Polyurethane foams belong in general to sutable materials in terms of noise damping. The aim of the work is to experimentally investigate sound absorption properties of some types of porous polyurethane foams. The measurements were performed on Kundt's impedance tube. There are different factors (e.g. excitation damping ofthe investigated polyurethane foams. These factors are evaluated in this work.
