Comparative study of antioxidant potential in products from noni (Morinda citrifolia L.)
Original language description
Several commercially available noni products (4 juices, 4 milled dry fruit powders and 2 capsules with dry fruit powder) were analyzed. The samples were bought via internet or in local pharmacies. Our interest was focused on comparison of spectrophotometrically obtained antioxidant characteristics and HPLC fingerprints of extracts obtained by means of different sample pre-treatment procedures. Further, selected compounds were identified and quantified.
