The three dimensional scaffolds are one of the potential devices for the regeneration of tissues related to dental pulp and skeletal bone. It has been estimated that nearly 75 million people have been affected by bone related problem in Europe, USA and Japan. Additionally, each year millions of persons around the globe are afflicted by periodontal diseases and tooth decay. Tissue engineering involves the application of three dimensional scaffold which facilitates tissue regeneration process. Hence, hydrogel scaffolds are efficiently used as a matrix that facilitates tissue regeneration.
