Original language description
This study is focused on evaluation of the experimentally prepared functional additive based on Polyacrylic acid/Polylactic acid copolymer (PAA/PLA) on the degradation kinetics of high molecular weight polylactide (PLA) under various conditions. Using of the PAA/PLA based additive content in PLA could result in the accelerated biodegradation under the composting environment. By this way, it is possible to meet the composting technology requirements without changing the properties of the PLA matrix material.
