Original language description
Polymeric materials in hematological applications should exhibit anticoagulant properties. For this reason, natural polysaccharide fucoidan has been deposited on polyethylene terephthalate substrate by multistep physicochemical process. Obtained active surface has been tested by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy, surface wettability, ATR-FTIR and anticoagulation activity assay.
