There is a general agreement among experts that socio-cultural influence on the personality and general behaviour of people in South Asian countries like India, Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka, businessman highly concentrates to practice religion related customsprior everyday business activities. Actually religiosity has become daily routine activity of the business. According to this empirical study 96% of them can be categorized into high or medium level religiosity. But as per the results, there is no relationship between among entrepreneur?s religiosity and level of the success of the organization. But almost all the respondents agreed that their religious functions, norms, practices helps them to be disciplined and gives them the confidence to overcome difficulties. It may be concluded that religion is definitely not a barrier to entrepreneurial success rather it is a source of strength for entrepreneurs
