The aim of the paper is to present the brand stretching coming up with the case of the global known Bata brand name into university education in the Czech Republic. The story of the famous world entrepreneur, the Czech shoe maker Tomas Bata, has become the model of the successful businessman. Bata´s system of management is the issue for study. Additional, Tomas Bata University was established in the Czech Republic nine years ago.
