This paper deals with the subject of information technologies used to increase competitive ability of companies. The first chapter describes the new tendencies in company environment and next three parts briefly presents enterprise information systems used for supply chain management, computer simulations used for production systems and services and their positions in enterprise architecture. Communication and data exchange between these systems are mentioned in the last part.
