Nowadays, the issue of Corporate Governance (CG) is highly discussed. Due to many scandals in the U. S. or also in the European continent, companies are forced to pay a special attention to this topic. One of the measures how to prevent the rise of similar situations can be an assertion of Principles of CG by OECD. The objective of this paper is to examine, if and how the authorities of multinational corporations (MNCs) dispose of knowledge in CG area. This research was conducted in the selected branchoffices of MNCs or firms with a foreign participation in the Czech Republic through the questionnaire survey. The findings have been interpreted in an exploratory manner. Based on the research results, the model of education for CG authorities was proposed.
