Original language description
The article deals with the print advertisement in magazines aimed at women with little children. The object of the article is to find out what appeals, information content, message strategy, form of the message and realisation could be found in these particular magazines. Maminka and Family Star, two main Czech monthly magazines were put to analysis. They both deals with the problems of pregnancy, health and upbringing children from their birth to pupilage. The results were rated in one year span. Content analysis of the print adverts uses several tools and methods, e.g. the ones by Simon, Pollay, Resnik, Stern and by other experts.
