Creative Economy ? Are We Going to Have Enough Creative Workers?
Original language description
Authors of this paper focused on research about demand of creative professions from high school students in the Czech Republic (1628 respondents) and university students (338 respondents from one university). Both surveys show that students have a high interest in these professions, but they are relatively unfocused (students had an opportunity to choose multiple professions in the survey; average student have chosen both creative and uncreative professions). The two-dimensional classification of occupations according to Roe was used for the research - Roe classified the creative professions in the eighth group named Arts and Entertainment.
