Control of integrating time delay systems using time delay approximations
Original language description
The paper deals with design of controllers for time delay systems having integrative properties. The proposed method is based on two types of time delay approximations. The two-degree-of-freedom configuration is considered. For controller design, the polynomial approach is used. Resulting continuous-time controllers obtained via polynomial equations and the LQ control technique ensure asymptotic tracking of step references as well as step disturbances attenuation. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the proposed method.
