Original language description
This article describes the use of nanotubes in the construction of passive antennas, which can be employed in portable communication devices. For the purposes of the construction, composite materials equipped with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) were prepared. The materials were adjusted to the required shapes in order to ensure the best parameters. The produced prototype of the experimental antenna was subjected to a thorough measurement of its parameters in an anechoic chamber. Owing to the useof carbon nanotubes (CNT) this product can be used in particular applications that employ patch antennas. In addition, there is the possibility of their integration to electrically nonconductive surfaces where traditional materials such as copper, for various reasons, cannot be used.
