An Approach for the Stability of Fractional Order Systems via Two Feedback Controllers
Original language description
This study contributes on tuning two feedback controllers which is a different point of view than classical controller structure. Controllers are tuned to make a fractional order plant meet some desired frequency response specifications. Two specifications on the Bode plot are given and frequency analysis of the whole system is studied. The aim is to ensure the frequency that gain curve crosses 0dB at a desired value and keep the phase margin at a certain level. Controlled plant is considered in fractional order type and the controller structure is assumed to be classical two feedback controllers. Mathematical background of the procedure is explained and the formulas to obtain the desired specifications are given. Then, unknown variables in the formulas are optimized to achieve the two controllers. Analysis results are illustrated within different examples. Stability of the system is also investigated with its step response.
