The Joint Rescue System (JRS) in the Czech Republic consists of primary and other components. Primary components include the Fire Rescue System, the Police, and the Medical Emergency Service. It is essential for both the core and the other components to co-operate together. For these purposes, the tactical exercises of the JRS components serve. Crisis managers, in their joint work, require effective interactive communication to address the crisis. It is therefore essential that they have managerial and communication skills. The role of a crisis manager requires knowledge of psychology and interpersonal relationships. It must be equipped with attributes, abilities, knowledge, skills and the experience they necessarily need such behavior. He is motivated to use such behavior. Thus, he see the value in the desired behavior, and therefore willing to use the necessary energy in this direction. He has the ability to use such behavior in the given situation. The aim of this article is to evaluate these skills when practical exercise of JRS. There was evaluated practical exercise focusing on emergency at the airport. At the end of the paper we give recommendation to the better way of crisis communication.
