Original language description
The aim of this article is to assess the readiness of the patient to move from the airport with suspected Ebola to the rescue services of the Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic. Warnings about possible risks and causes during patient transport. In one part of the article, the part is devoted to the currently valid legislation governing the cooperation of IRS, economic measures for crisis situations, functions of state material reserves management, material security of selected IRS components and the work of BIOHAZARD TEAM. The main part of the article describes the course of the extraordinary event. One of the chapters is focused on the analysis and evaluation of transport risks. Furthermore, the issue of transport, risks and problems that may be encountered by intervening IRS members may be addressed. At the end of the article, measures to minimize risks in the transport of infected patients are proposed.
